Data Transfer and Data Upload.

Digital Printing.

Data Formats:

         .PDF (Adobe)

         .AI (Adobe Illustrator)

         .INDD (Adobe InDesign)

         .PSD (Adobe Photoshop)

         .DOCX (Microsoft Word)

.PDF To ensure a high-quality finished product according to your expectations, we recommend using the Adobe .PDF print-ready format.

In the case of documents of a different file format, we reserve the right to analyze the data and, if a high-quality end product cannot be expected, contact you subsequently.

We process file formats outside of .PDF format only if delivery in the .PDF format is subject to disproportionate additional effort.

.PSD For documents in .PSD format, we recommend paying special attention to the resolution settings. When sending the data, use the "pack..." function to bundle all images and fonts required for production with the .PSD file in one folder.

.DOCX Documents in the .DOCX format often cause problems. Printer expansion on falling pages is not possible (printing to the edges of the page), color accuracy of inserted images and content formatting are insufficient. Therefore, we strongly recommend converting documents of .DOCX format to .PDF format and checking for possible discrepancies preceding transfer.

NOTE For documents of a file format not aforementioned, we reserve the right to reject as we cannot guarantee intended end results. We assume no liability for documents of the .PDF file format in which documents of a deviating file format (such as .PNG) have been integrated.

Color Formats:

         ISO Coated v2.icc

         PSO Coated v3.icc (FOGRA 51)

         Coated FOGRA 39.icc

To ensure a color-correct end product, we recommend creating the document in CMYK color mode and outputting it using one of the aforementioned suitable color profiles.

Spot colors are colors that cannot be printed in CMYK color mode. To use there colors, a definition in FULL TONE (such as Pantone) is necessary.

Images:

         ISO Coated v2.icc

         PSO Coated v3.icc (FOGRA 51)

         Coated FOGRA 39.icc

To ensure optimal output quality, we recommend using images with a final resolution of 300 dpi or higher.

Images with a resolution of 150 dpi or less have a loss of quality visible to the human eye.

Images downloaded from the Internet usually have a resolution of 72 dpi and inadequate color modes. In addition, it is up to the customer to check for potential usage rights.

Printer Extension:

         2 mm minimum requirement

For print images, including text, shapes, colors and images, that extend to the edge of the print, we recommend a printer extension of at least 2 mm. The print image should therefore extend at least 2 mm beyond the edge of the finished print.

Screen and Pad Printing.

Data Formats:

         .PDF (Adobe)

         .AI (Adobe Illustrator)

         .PS (PostScript)

         .EPS (encapsulated PostScript)

         .DXF (bis AutoCad Version 2010/11/12)

To ensure a high quality final product according to your requirements, we recommend using the vector-based Adobe .PDF format. Generally, a vector-based file format is required for data transfer in screen printing as well as pad printing.

We process data using Adobe Illustrator. Therefore, we also accept the alternatively mentioned file formats outside the .PDF format, should a delivery in the .PDF format require disproportionate additional efforts.

In the case of documents of a different file format, we reserve the right to analyze the data and, if a high-quality end product cannot be expected, will contact you subsequently.

Color Formats:

         Pantone color system

         RAL color system

         HKS color system

To guarantee a color-correct final product, we recommend creating the file in one of the aforementioned color systems as especially in screen and pad printing, predominantly decorative colors are used.

Should color gradients me required, please contact us before creating the data.

Fonts:

To ensure optimal output quality, we recommend that fonts used be fully embedded in the vector-based Adobe .PDF format.

For documents in .AI (Adobe Illustrator), .PS (PostScript), and .EPS (encapsulated PostScript) formats, fonts must be converted to paths prior to export.

Line width:

         0,10 mm minimum requirement
